My Perfect Day Out In My New Celine Shoes, by Sophia

This was the day that Sophia eagerly waited for, every Saturday of the week. She had spent the whole week recovering from a tiring couple of days so was very much looking forward to a day out with three of her closest girl friends Lucy, Emma and Mia. It included a leisurely walk in the city’s Botanic Gardens, tea at a nearby cafe and little bit of shopping. She was about to step out in her new Celine shoes for the first time too, which made the day even more wonderful.

Sophia was forever impressed by the fashion of Celine. The minimalistic yet luxurious look caught her eye in the boutique just as soon as she saw them on the shelf. They were exactly what she wanted to take her wardrobe up a notch but not lose comfort. And finally, after weeks of debating, she’d bit the bullet and bought them and that day had come to throw them on for the very first time. She could just imagining herself striding out in theme, savoring the joyfulness of each step.

Sophia moved slowly, taking time to get ready with the morning sun streaming into her apartment. The beauty quietly put on a light silk summer dress, light, airy mixed in different pastel shades perfect for the well-established warm days. The shoes she had been dying to wear and the simple yet elegant dress. She wore her hair in loose waves and kept it barely-there makeup so she could show off her natural beauty. She was looking into the mirror and felt at peace with herself. She was going to feel good today, both on the inside and out.

Not only was she happy to catch up with her friends, but also to show off those shoes today.Upon wearing her Celine shoes,Cruz could not help herself but notice that the luxurious footwear accentuates her whole look. She liked the story of the soft yet sturdy leather and minimalist clean lines of the shoes. They were a low enough heel to wear for walking, but dressy enough that they basically go with any outfit—exactly what she wanted.

Sophia spotted her friends as soon as she reached the park, where they agreed to find each other. It was Mia,head down scrolling away on her phone, with Emma and Lucy–Emma’s new co-worker–chatting beside her on the bench. The minute they spotted Sophia walking toward them, they stood up.

“Sophia! Wow,you look stunning!”Lucy gasped as she watched Sophia in her new shoes.

Sophia tried to grin, feeling a bit smug.”Thank you! These shoes are at last seeing the light of day today.

‘I can understand why you’re so darn excited,’Emma quipped, smiling.”They look amazing.Celine has such a chic vibe.”

And Mia,a self-professed fashionista, had to weigh in too.”Those shoes are everything.I have been coveting them for a while as well.

The compliments only fueled Sophia into an even more excited frenzy to get the day started.The pack of friends began their journey,friend laughing and having a chat while taking a walk around the botanical garden.Flowers bloomed on both sides of the road and air filled with the fragrance of new blossoms.This time,Sophia felt peaceful as she wandered amongst the gentle twists in the trail,her heart light and her new shoes easy;

Soon enough, they stopped to snap some photos with the fresh flowers surrounding them. The girls got in all close and did whatever silly ass poses laughing at each other’s goofy faces,Sophia couldn’t help but notice how easy it felt to stand there wearing her new shoes. When she set off in the shoes, she had anticipated that they might have pinched or rubbed after a long walk but was pleased to find them as comfortable as they were chic.

“Get out,Sophia,”Mia said while she continued snapping photos,”this might become your new signature piece.”

Sophia laughed, the warmth of it filling her heart.Maybe I have been searching for some comfortable style and I believe these fit the bill perfectly.

It was a beautiful day, sunny and warm and so very happy to spend time soberside with a friends. They strolled the garden and inside a greenhouse where rare flowers bloomed. The vibrant surroundings also helped with the feel of the place and,hand-in-hand,all four meandered through one exhibit to another apprieating the hues in nature.

They stepped into the little café at the garden entrance.Outside they were packed, the warm breeze setting the perfect backdrop for an outdoor café frenzy. It was a small table in the corner that they chose, allowing them some privacy. When we sat down and ordered cocktails,my friends and I picked up where we had left off earlier that night:talking about our careers, relationships, you know…the most important things.

“Gotta hand it to yah,”Lucy began as she sipped her iced tea,“those shoes do outshine today’s look for sure Soph.I’m impressed.”

“Thank you!”Some light came back into Sophia’s battered face.I been waiting for the right time to wear them and today seemed as good a day as any.

“I understand now why you love them so much,”Mia said, scanning the shoes one final time.”They go with everything. So chic, yet so wearable. They were the kind of thing you could wear high or low.”

“Exactly!”Sophia agreed.”They’re super versatile.Second,I have a lot of walking to do and also didn’t want to look totally slobbish so needed something that could straddle that day-to-day/fancy fence. And these shoes deliver the results.

After some other small talk, the topic switched, but Sophia could not contain her glee any longer about the new shoes that were an equally integral element of both those days.To her, they represented more than just a pair of shoes;to go along with the new school year, these boots would kick off a new chapter in which she enjoyed fashion without sacrificing function. And I think her friends valued that choice as well.

Following their coffee break, the team headed out to a boutique that was close by for some shopping.Inspired by all the truly stylish outfits that surrounded her,Sophia tried on a few dresses as well as some accessories for her to hold onto while friends chimed in with what looked best. Her Celine trainers were still gleaming as she perused the clothes on a hangier and one of the store assistants even complimented them! The shoes had apparently registered with more than her pals.

By late afternoon, the group reconvened on foot through an art district in the city after capturing the streets covered with colorful graffiti and indulging in ice cream.Through all that, still Sophia was happy in her bones laughing happily. All her friends were in good spirits and she thought that even though she might be battered her feet were still snug and warm. And stories were told, jokes cracked and the joys of life—small reminders that enough really does exist.

The day came to an end, with the sun setting and time for them to say goodbye, but Sophia knew it was perfect. It had been unforgettable; she had spent it well and indeed the shoes he made her wear was all what she expected.More than as a fashion accessory, however;they had enabled her to completely enjoy the day without bravely pretending that her feet did not hurt and having to focus on the people around her or everyone else rather.

Walking home, Sophia couldn’t help but smile; it was one of those days-the kind in which shitty shoes are no match for the memories they leave behind. Maybe the perfect pair of shoes could be good for something, she thought but it was the laughter, the friendships and the joy that made an unrepeatable day.
